Watch: 78-year-old discharged after making ‘miracle’ COVID-19 recovery

In a heart-wrenching video, hospital staff can be seen cheering for a woman who was discharged from hospital after making a COVID-19 recovery.

With an aggressive pandemic and a gruelling lockdown at play, it can be hard to find the silver lining. A 78-year-old woman, who fought for her life, with the help of tenacious medical staff made a recovery after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Known to the Milnerton Mediclinic as Mrs Bodill, she was discharged earlier this week after being admitted with shortness of breath in early April.
