South Africa will be moving to Level 1 as of Monday 21 September 2020, with additional health measures put in place to prevent a second wave. Borders will be opened as of 1 October for international travel subject to specific conditions to ensure health and safety. Social, religious and other gatherings are permitted under very specific guidelines.
